ESOL Reading Challenge

In a world bustling with distractions, where screens often steal the spotlight from pages, there's a quiet revolution brewing—one that celebrates the timeless allure of books. Our ESOL learners have been keeping busy with a reading challenge. Learners were encouraged to read a series of books or explore specific genres, authors, or themes within a set timeframe to further developing their English outside of our classrooms.

Well done to all learners who participated! Your work is on display across our centres.

ONLS online Safety Workshops

Across the winter period, we hosted a series of online safety workshops for our learners. Throughout these workshops we covered: staying safe online, internet safety and identifying online dangers. Learners were thrilled with the session and took away key pieces of information which they can apply to everyday life.

“I learnt many things about how to be safe online. For example, how to identify fake links, scamming. It was fabulous!”

-Afsaneh SALEHI ESOL ENTRY 3 BG & FUNCTIONAL SKILLS MATHS L1 FGLZ

“This was a very informative session! Very important in my future field of work, Childcare.”
