| Be Bin Day Ready - bin collections are changing
From 10 June 2024, the way that we collect bins in Newham will change for all residents in houses or houses split in to flats. These changes will help your hardworking collection crews work in a more efficient way and will also help us to increase our recycling rates. We're introducing… - New collection days
- Boundary collections – bins must now be placed at the edge of the property, by the gate or end of the drive, ready for collection from 6am
- Assisted collections for those that need support moving their bins
- No side waste will be collected
- Bin lids must be shut
To the view the full breakdown of the changes, including our best practice guide on to how to present your bins on your collection day, please visit our webpage.
