The consultation period for the Newham Draft Submission Local Plan has been extended by 2 weeks to 5pm Friday 20 September! This decision has been made to allow more time for everyone to provide their valuable input beyond the summer holiday period. It's important for all stakeholders to have their say in this final consultation before the Local Plan is submitted to the central Government for examination.
The Newham Local Plan plays a crucial role in assessing planning applications and managing areas for regeneration and development in Newham up to 2038. It serves as the primary planning document, outlining the vision for the future of our community, designed to help achieve our key objectives of inclusive growth, delivering a fairer Newham, and addressing our climate emergency.
