NEPIC host X-Energy and Equilibrion event at the Wilton Centre
We were delighted to host the ‘Workshop on the Applications of Nuclear Energy for Decarbonisation and Clean Growth’ at the Wilton Centre last week led by NEPIC member X-energy UK and Equilibrion.
The event explored the wide and varied applications of small, advanced nuclear technology to support decarbonisation and clean growth across a wide range of sectors where low-carbon heat, hydrogen and electricity are in high demand.
The workshop included briefings on supportive Government policy that opens the door to the use of nuclear for decarbonisation and growth across this wide range of applications and how deployments can support achieving Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reduction. It was great to see the valuable roundtable discussions throughout the day which will undoubtedly lead to cross-sector collaboration on full value chain deployment propositions. A huge thank you to all who took part!
